Title: Amendment to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations: Exports and Temporary Imports Made to or on Behalf of a Department or Agency of the U.S. Government 
Abstract:

The Department of State amends the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to: 1) Clarify regulations pertaining to the export of items subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR); 2) revise the licensing exemption in ITAR 126.4 for exports made to or on behalf of an agency of the U.S. Government; 3) revise the destination control statement in ITAR 123.9 to harmonize the language with the EAR; and 4) make several minor edits for clarity. The revisions contained in this rule are part of the Department of State’s retrospective plan under Executive Order 13563.
