Title: ●Health Education Assistance Loan (HEAL) Program
Abstract: The Secretary is moving the regulations governing the Health Education Assistance Loan (HEAL) from their previous location when administered by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to a location within Education regulations at Volume 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations based on the transfer of the authority for administering the HEAL loans that remain outstanding to Education. In addition, the Secretary is deleting regulations that are no longer needed (for origination of HEAL loans) and/or amending the regulations to reflect the transfer to Education.
