Title: Energy Efficiency Standards for Battery Chargers | |
Abstract:
EPCA, as amended by EISA 2007, requires the Secretary to determine whether setting energy conservation standards for battery chargers is technically feasible and economically justified. Proposed energy conservation standards for battery chargers were published in the same document as proposed energy conservation standards for external power supplies, but recent changes introduced by the state of California have prompted a further review regarding the costs and benefits of setting standards for battery chargers. Standards for external power supplies were finalized on February 10, 2014 (79 FR 7846). |
