Title: Implementation of the International Trade Data System | |
Abstract:
The Drug Enforcement Administration is proposing to update its regulations for the import and export of controlled substances and listed chemicals. The amendments clarify certain policies and reflect current procedures and technological advancements and allow for the implementation, as applicable for controlled substances and listed chemicals, of the President’s Executive Order on streamlining the export/import process requiring the Government-wide utilization of the International Trade Data System. The proposal includes changes to make regulatory text more readable and consistent with plain language principles. |
