Title: The U.S. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Card Program | |
Abstract:
Pursuant to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Travel Cards Act of 2011 and the APEC Business Travel Card Operating Framework, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is establishing the U.S. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Card Program. APEC is an economic forum whose primary goal is to support sustainable economic growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region. APEC is comprised of 21 members, including the United States. One of APEC's initiatives is the APEC Business Travel Card Program. The U.S. APEC Business Travel Card Program will enable eligible persons access to fast-track immigration lanes at foreign APEC economies. This rule sets forth the eligibility requirements, application procedures and fee. |
