Title: Designation of Critical Habitat for the Gulf of Maine, New York Bight, Chesapeake Bay, Carolina, and South Atlantic Distinct Population Segments of Atlantic Sturgeon  
Abstract:

The National Marine Fisheries Service listed four distinct population segments of Atlantic sturgeon as endangered--and one distinct population of Atlantic sturgeon as threatened--under the Endangered Species Act on February 6, 2012. This rule designated critical habitat for the Gulf of Maine, New York Bight, Chesapeake Bay, Carolina, and South Atlantic Distinct Population Segments of Atlantic sturgeon.
