Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Removal of the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem Population of Grizzly Bears From the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife | |
Abstract:
We will consider removing the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem (NCDE) population of grizzly bears from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife. To do this, we will evaluate the biological status of the NCDE population in light of scientific analyses and legal considerations. This evaluation will determine whether this population meets the definition of a distinct population segment. The ultimate legal status of this population under the Act will then be assessed in a proposed rule. |
