This rule will propose to amend the Sugar Beet Crop Provisions to clarify and revise policy provisions. The major changes are to change the basis of insurance from standardized tons (of sugar beets) to pounds of raw sugar, allow joint ventures as an insurable interest, provide regionally determined replant costs, and make the stage removal option a permanent option.
