<p>The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) plans to publish a proposed rule that would amend the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard to align with the results of the legal challenge brought by Natural Grocers. The amendments would&nbsp;remove the standalone text message disclosure option found at 7 CFR 66.108 and add an additional and comparable option to the electronic or digital disclosure option found at 7 CFR 66.106.&nbsp; The amendment to the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard would align the rule with the results of the legal challenge brought by Natural Grocers and improve accessibility of the disclosures to consumers.</p>
