This rule would update civil rights assurance language contained in the Federal-State Agreement for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service’s (FNS) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The FSA is found at 7 CFR 272.2, State Plan of Operations, under subsection (b)(1). The rule does not contain any new requirements and would codify protections already required by Federal law and existing policy.
