The agency published a proposed directive that would establish consistent national guidance and criteria for evaluating special use permit proposals for still photography and commercial filming in congressionally designated wilderness areas on national forests. The Agency will consider comments received from proposed directive and decide if moving forward with a final directive on Commercial Filming in the Wilderness is feasible at this time.
