On February 7, 2017, NMFS published a final rule to implement the 2017-2018 West Coast groundfish harvest specifications and management measures. As highlighted in that rule, this fishery requires routine and frequent inseason action to modify management measures to meet the mandates outlined by the Magnuson Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. This action implements such an inseason action.
