NIST is planning to make technical updates to the terminology used in 15 CFR part 285, governing our National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program, to conform to changes that were made to ISO/IEC 17011 and ISO/IEC 17025. These changes are not discretionary, are technical in nature, and will not impact the public directly (but will only result in minor changes to NIST’s internal practices).
