        <ABSTRACT><![CDATA[In 1990, the Corps published its final regulations regarding the protection of historic properties and compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and other historic preservation laws.  Since those final regulations were published, the NHPA was amended in 1992, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's implementing regulations at 36 CFR part 800 have been substantially revised.  The Corps will revise its regulations to conform to the NHPA's revised implementing regulations.]]></ABSTRACT>
