The existing regulation assigns responsibilities and prescribes procedures concerning the use of chemicals in the USACE pest control program at civil works projects. This final rule action is largely administrative in nature, removing unnecessary and outdated CFR text which will provide clarity and reduce confusion to the public. The same content can be found in the Corps’ publication of ER 1130-2-540. The rule does not place a burden on the public, therefore its repeal does not provide a burden reduction or cost savings.
