DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to address DoD's policy for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) application on DoD contracts. The rule will address thresholds, roles and responsibilities, and approval authorities for the application of EVMS. The rule will also remove the reference to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) guidelines and states that EVMS must comply with guidelines in Electronic Industries Alliance Standard 748 (EIA-748).
