DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement section 211 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023, which amends 10 U.S.C. 2350a(a)(2) to expand the scope of 225.871, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) cooperative projects to also include Cooperative Research and Development Projects to include other allied and friendly foreign countries under the European Union and the European Defense Agency, the European Commission, and the Council of the European Union and their suborganizations. RIN 0750-AL35 has been merged into this RIN (0750-AL86), so that the changes to 10 U.S.C. 2350a provided in section 882 of the NDAA for FY 2021 and section 211 of the NDAA for FY 2023 can be implemented in the same rule.
