DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement section 834 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 and section 844(b) of the NDAA for FY 2025. Section 834 amends 10 U.S.C. 4872 as it pertains to the exception requirements to the acquisition restriction on certain magnets, tantalum, and tungsten. Section 844(b) makes various technical edits to 10 U.S.C. 4872.
