This final rule will update the organization, membership, and functions for the establishment and operation of elected school boards for schools operated by the DoD in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2164. The rule describes tasks school board members will perform, a description of the process of voting and electing school board members, and the details of the school board operating procedures, which includes written agendas; possible removal of school board members, and reimbursement for official travel.
