This part outlines admissions policies for students entering the School of Medicine. The part was put in place soon after the legislation authorizing the establishment of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and has not been updated since 28 July 1989 (54 FR 31335). The rule establishes unique required qualifications for medical education admissions and assigns responsibilities also for the selection of entrants to the School of Medicine of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The revision will also remove some redundant language specific to internal departmental policies, and procedures.
