The Department of Defense (DoD) proposes to exempt the DoD Criminal Law Enforcement (LE) Investigatory Records, DoD-00XX system of records from certain provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974. The Privacy Act allows Federal agencies to exempt eligible records in a system of records from certain provisions of the Act, including those that provide individuals with a right to request access to and amendment of their own records.
