This rule proposes to update authorities and responsibilities for the Stripes Media Organization (often abbreviated as Stripes) and reaffirms its editorial independence in providing media products to veterans and their families and contractors based on changes in the consumption of news and information in a digital age. It additionally proposes to remove internal operational policies and procedures of the Stripes Media Organization that do not have an external burden on the public.
