This is a direct final rule to rescind exemption rules previously established to exempt one or more Department of Defense (DoD) system(s) of records notices (SORNs) from provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974. Due to the rescindment of one or more exempt DoD SORNs, the associated exemption rules for those SORNs are being rescinded as well. The DoD is publishing this as a direct final rule because we do not expect to receive any significant adverse comments.
