<RULE_TITLE>Modernization of the Current Food Good Manufacturing Practices Regulation</RULE_TITLE>
<![CDATA[The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to amend its current good manufacturing practices (CGMP) regulations (21 CFR part 110) for manufacturing, packing, or holding human food. This proposed rule would require food facilities to address issues such as environmental pathogens, food allergens, mandatory employee training, and sanitation of food contact surfaces. The proposed rule also would require food facilities to develop and implement preventive control systems. FDA is taking this action to better address changes that have occurred in the food industry and protect public health.]]>
