This final rule will remove unnecessary language at 42 CFR 136.14(b).  The regulations at 42 CFR 136.14 establish general principles and program requirements for carrying out Indian health programs. 42 CFR 136.14(b) provides that ineligible individuals receiving services be charged "rates approved by the Assistant Secretary for Health and Surgeon General published in the Federal Register." The Assistant Secretary for Health and the Surgeon General no longer approve or publish such rates.
