This rule will exempt a new system of records, NIH Electronic Research Administration (eRA) records, from certain requirements of the Privacy Act to protect records compiled in the course of NIH extramural activities for the purpose of determining suitability, eligibility, or qualifications for Federal grant awards and to protect the identity of confidential sources in those activities.
