We propose to add rules regarding the redetermination of entitlement to benefits when there is a reason to believe that fraud or similar fault was involved in an individual’s application for benefits. We propose to allow affected individuals the opportunity to rebut the exclusion of evidence in their cases when there is a reason to believe that fraud or similar was involved in the provision of that evidence to us. We also propose to explain how and when we redetermine entitlement, and the administrative review process when we decide to terminate benefits.
