This NPRM proposes to add to our Code of Federal Regulations information about the advance designation of representative payees as a result of the Strengthening Protections for Social Security Beneficiaries Act of 2018. Specifically, we propose to identify how an individual may advance designate up to three representative payees, including what information the individual must provide.
