ORR is establishing certain requirements for the sponsor suitability assessment, regarding proof of identity and proof of income, in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.  This IFR specifies acceptable documentation for proof of identity and establishes requirements for proof of income for potential sponsors of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) who are in Federal custody by reason of their immigration status under the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (HSA) and the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 (TVPRA).
