The Department of Health and Human Services is conducting a rulemaking to repromulgate or revise certain regulatory provisions of the Department of Health and Human Services found at 45 CFR part 75, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for HHS Awards, that were promulgated at 81 FR 89393 (Dec. 12, 2016). The Department has exercised its enforcement discretion to not enforce the provisions adopted through the previous rulemaking, given significant concerns about compliance with the Regulatory Flexibility Act, pending repromulgation.
