This proposed rule would revise certain regulatory provisions published in the "2023 Oil and Gas and Sulfur Operations in the Outer Continental Shelf-Blowout Preventer Systems and Well Control Revisions" to clarify certain reporting and recordkeeping requirements. This rule would reduce duplicative submissions and provide consistency and clarity of information available for BSEE review.  BSEE is undertaking this regulatory action in accordance with EO 14154 and SO 3418. Both orders specifically call for the suspension, revision, or rescission of the 2023 rule.
