We intend to revise policies (126 FW 1-3) and standards to ensure proper and consistent management of the FWS's museum property, in compliance with Federal laws and regulations and Department of the Interior policy. These policies will apply to all FWS units that store and are responsible for museum property collections that are in the possession of FWS units, on loan to other institutions, or being held for the FWS by a nonfederal repository.
