We will make final determinations on our proposal to list the Pacific sheath-tailed bat, two birds (the mao and the friendly ground-dove), and two species of American Samoa land snails (Eua zebrina and Ostodes strigatus) under the Endangered Species Act. All five species occur in American Samoa. The bat and the mao also occur in Western Polynesia and Melanesia. A critical habitat determination may be addressed as a separate action.
