We will, if deemed prudent and determinable, propose to designate critical habitat for the Texas hornshell under the Endangered Species Act. This mussel species is found in freshwater streams in Texas and New Mexico. We are developing a listing determination as a separate rulemaking action (RIN 1018-BB34).
