We will, if deemed prudent and determinable, propose to designate critical habitat for the Sonoyta mud turtle under the Endangered Species Act. This species is found in freshwater pools in Arizona and Mexico. We are developing a listing determination as a separate rulemaking action (RIN 1018-AZ02).
