We will, if deemed prudent and determinable, propose to designate critical habitat for the Louisiana pine snake under the Endangered Species Act. This species is found in open pine forest and longleaf pine savannah in Louisiana and Texas. We are developing a listing determination as a separate rulemaking action (RIN 1018-BB46).
