We revised the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife to reflect the current scientifically accepted taxonomy and nomenclature of the Grand Cayman blue iguana. We revised the scientific name of this species from Cyclura nubila lewisi to Cyclura lewisi. We also revised the common name of this species, from Grand Cayman ground iguana to Grand Cayman blue iguana.
