We are issuing this proposed rule to add a definition of "shellfish and fishery products" to our regulations in 50 CFR part 14, which govern the importation, exportation, and transportation of wildlife. The rule would also revise 50 CFR 14.92 regarding the exemption from the import/export license requirements for certain shellfish and fishery products. The new definition would apply to the exemption for certain shellfish and fishery products set forth in 50 CFR 14.21, 14.55, 14.62, and 14.92; this proposed rule would include additional species to those currently included in the exemption.
