This proposed rule would reassess the listing status of northeastern bulrush (Scirpus ancistrochaetus) under the Endangered Species Act. The proposed determination will be based on the best available information as of the time of publication. Based on the assessment, FWS may propose to downlist or delist the species, unless FWS determines no change in its status is warranted. The northeastern bulrush is a plant found in Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.
