Pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will revise the regulations at 50 CFR part 17 to add regulations pertaining to the designation of critical habitat. We want to clarify our consideration of the benefits of both including and excluding specific habitat segments in such designations.
