FWS is reassessing the listing status of the fat threeridge (Amblema neislerii), a mussel listed as endangered, and Chipola slabshell (Elliptio chipolaensis), a mussel listed as threatened, under the Endangered Species Act. Our status determination will be based on the best available information as of the time of publication. Based on the assessment, FWS may propose to downlist or delist the species, unless FWS determines no change in status is warranted. The fat threeridge is found in Florida and Georgia, and the Chipola slabshell is found in Florida and Alabama.
