FWS will make a listing determination, based on the best available scientific and commercial data, for the Florida pine snake (Pituophis melanoleucus mugitus) under the Endangered Species Act. This snake is found in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. FWS will also propose to designate critical habitat for the species, if prudent and determinable.
