FWS will make a listing determination, based on the best available scientific and commercial data, for the northern bog lemming (Synaptomys borealis). This rodent is found in the northern United States (Alaska, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, and Washington) and across Canada. FWS will also propose to designate critical habitat for the species, if prudent and determinable.
