FWS will reassess the listing status for the southern clubshell (Pleurobema decisum), which is currently listed as endangered. The latest 5-year review for this species recommended downlisting. Our status determination will be based on the best available information at the time of publication, which means that we may propose to downlist or delist the species, unless we determine no change in its status is warranted. The southern clubshell is found in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
