FWS will revise the Lists of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants to reflect the scientifically accepted taxonomy and nomenclature for approximately 30 species that occur primarily in the southeastern United States. These revisions reflect the most recently accepted scientific nomenclature in accordance with 50 CFR 17.11(c) and 17.12(b). The taxonomic corrections are editorial in nature and involve no substantive changes to the Lists or to any applicable regulations.
