FWS will make a listing determination, based on the best available scientific and commercial data, for the Rio Grande chub (Gila pandora) and Rio Grande sucker (Catostomus plebeius) under the Endangered Species Act. These fish are found in New Mexico, Colorado, and into Mexico. If we determine that listing is warranted, we will also propose to designate critical habitat for these species, if prudent and determinable.
