This rule would revise the special regulations for Death Valley National Park to designate the Chicken Strip airstrip within the Saline Valley Warm Springs planning area as a location available for the operation of aircraft. This rule would provide clarity to the public that the Chicken Strip airstrip is available for use by aircraft within the park. The airstrip has been in use since the NPS began managing the Saline Valley Warm Springs area in 1994 and this rule would codify the continued use of the airstrip.
