This rule would amend regulations relating to individuals in proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review. The rule would ensure that the necessary identity, law enforcement, and security investigations are properly initiated and have been completed by the Department of Homeland Security before immigration judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals adjudicate certain applications for relief.
