<p>This deregulatory action is being proposed in response to President Trump&rsquo;s January 20, 2025, Memorandum entitled Delivering Emergency Price Relief for American Families and Defeating the Cost-of-Living Crisis. It will explore ways to reduce the costs and burdens imposed on employers and other plan fiduciaries responsible for producing and distributing welfare plan disclosures, including group health plans, required under Title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. It also aims to make these disclosures more understandable, accessible, and useful for participants and beneficiaries.</p>
