        <RULE_TITLE>Ergonomics Programs: Preventing Musculoskeletal Disorders</RULE_TITLE>
<![CDATA[On November 14, 2000, OSHA published a final rule addressing ergonomic programs in general industry (65 FR 68262). The rule became effective on January 16, 2001. However, under the Congressional Review Act, Congress has passed and the President has signed, Public Law 107-5, a resolution of disapproval of OSHA's final Ergonomics Program standard. Because Public Law 107-5 invalidates the standard, OSHA has removed it from the Code of Federal Regulations. Removal of the final standard was effective April 23, 2001.]]>
